Mason Ryan Release Update
We reported that Mason Ryan was one of the recent WWE NXT talents released last week. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE didn't feel like Ryan was progressing and improving fash enough.
The Observer also noted that it must have taken quite a bit for WWE to release Mason Ryan, as he has the size they generally like. Plus, WWE liked the idea of having a babyface from Wales.
As far as Ryan's attitude behind the scenes, it's said he was very well-liked and did not have an ego.
We reported earlier that Mason Ryan's first announced independent match will be for Pro Wrestling Syndicate on their Super Card on June 7th.
CM Punk Races Over Weekend
Former WWE star CM Punk popped up over the weekend in Chicago as he participated in a Tough Mudder race. You can view the photo of CM Punk at the race below:
