5/2 Smackdown Draws Lowest Rating in a Year

The 5/2 edition of WWE SmackDown, which was the go-home show for Extreme Rules, averaged 2.271 million viewers, a 15% drop from last week's episode, which drew 2.670 million viewers.

Last week's show was the least watched episode of Smackdown since last June.

Mini Announcers at Extreme Rules

Short Sleeve Sampson, former star of Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling, was the mini announcer who played Jerry Smaller last night at Extreme Rules. Micro Cole was played by Pennsylvania indie wrestler Shovelhead Chuck and JB-Elf was played by Northeast Championship Wrestling performer Rob Araujo.
