TNA Notes: Low Ki Return Update, Austin Aries In Dog House, Rockstar Spud Signs New Contract

low ki returnLow Ki Return Update

TNA is interested in using Low Ki at future events and tapings, reports The Wrestling Observer. It's being said that MVP is in major support of TNA bringing back Low Ki, and many expect he'll ultimately return on a more regular schedule.

Low Ki announced his retirement from wrestling last October. However, that didn't last long as he has been taking several bookings as of late. In addition to working with TNA's 'One Night Stand' pay-per-view this month, it was also announced recently that he will be "coming out of retirement" for a match with Pro Wrestling Syndicate. He also wrestled for Dragon Gate USA on April 4th this year, being defeated by Trent Baretta in his return match.

Austin Aries In Dog House

Austin Aries might be in the proverbial "dog house", as The Wrestling Observer is reporting that he had a blow-up at a recent set of TNA tapings. There were no details given about the actual incident – only that Aries was pretty much iced following the event.

Rockstar Spud Signs New Contract

Rockstar Spud has signed a new contract with TNA, reports The Observer. There have been several new TNA superstars signing or renewing contracts as of late. As Jim Ross mentioned in a recent blog, this could be in part due to TNA wanting to secure their talent as quickly as possible with Jeff Jarrett launching another new wrestling company.
