#1 Contender's Tournament (Intercontinental Championship)
First Round – Sheamus vs Jack Swagger (w/ Zeb Colter)
Sheamus stomps Swagger a few times and sends him outside, but Zeb runs a distraction and Swagger slams Sheamus on the floor. He rolls Sheamus in and powerslams him, then Swagger hits him a few times but Sheamus comes back with a kneelift and a snapmare takedown. Sheamus kicks him in the back and ties him up, clubbing him on the apron, before heading up top and hitting a Battering Ram. Sheamus goes for a shoulder tackle from the apron, but Swagger sidesteps him and puts him in the Patriot Lock, only to have Swagger kick him back into the ropes. Swagger runs and shoulder tackles him out of the ring, then he knees him against the barricade and slams Sheamus' knees into the steps. Swagger rolls him in the ring, but Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick out of nowhere for the win.
Winner – Sheamus
Damien Sandow comes out and says he won't be silenced, and he is deserving of this time so they need to give him some respect. Big Show comes out as Sandow says he will stay until he is heard, and he mocks the crowd for cheering Show and booing himself. Sandow says they should beg to shake his hand because he's earned it and he deserves it, then he asks Show if he has anything to say. Show stands silent as Sandow points at Show and calls himself the future and a champion, but Show just knocks him out and walks away.
BP: I guess this is a good sign for Sandow, better than getting jobbed out. Curious to see if this goes anywhere or if it's a one week deal.
