Mean Gene comes out, talks about all Mr. T’s great accomplishments, WrestleMania I, and then brings out his son T Junior who introduces his dad.
Mr. T starts out his speech by praying to God on-stage. His speech is very God-focused, as he praises his mother for raising 12 children surrounded by crime and poverty. He talks about his mom for ten minutes.
KILLAM: Seriously. At one point I put it on mute and listened to “Motherlove” by The Lonely Island and Justin Timberlake, and when I turned the speech back on he was still talking about his mother.
He starts listing the days he loves his mother – Christmas Day, Groundhog’s Day, etc. – and the crowd starts giving him the “WHAT!?” treatment. Steve Austin is losing his mind laughing so hard.
The last update to this article was 10 minutes ago. He is still talking about his mother. They actually had Kane come out, music and all, to give him the hook. What!?
