Update on DirecTV and Comcast Offering WrestleMania XXX on PPV, Early 3/17 WWE Raw Viewership Not Great News for Road to WrestleMania

DirecTV Says "No" to WrestleMania

A Wrestlezone reader sent in word that, after speaking with a representative from DirecTV, they confirmed that they have no plans to offer WrestleMania XXX on pay-per-view this year, following the launch of the WWE Network. However, the representative did mention that they are still in talks with WWE.

It looks like Comcast is still planning to offer WrestleMania XXX live and on pay-per-view as usual, through XFinity. The official Comcast website lists the event as "coming soon" and still has replays available for all recent WWE PPV. There is still no official word on whether or not DISH Network has plans to broadcast WrestleMania; at this time their website has no listing for any WWE content.

3/17 WWE Raw Viewership

This week's WWE Raw viewership isn't great news, as the company approaches the final weeks of build into this year's WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view. The show an average of 4.075 million fans tune in over three hours, down almost 300,000 views from last week's "Occupy Raw" movement.

We hope to have the final rating for the 3/17 edition of Monday Night Raw later today.
