Impact Wrestling News: Bobby Lashley’s In-Ring Return Set, Angelina Love Returns, Willow in Action & More

tna focusing on new talentNext week on Impact Wrestling, Ethan Carter III will take on the returning Bobby Lashley in singles action. Lashley made his return to the company at TNA Lockdown last weekend, and will be wrestling his first match since the Final Resolution PPV in 2009. Furthermore, MVP – now completely in control of wrestling operations – announced that he had personally signed Bobby Lashley to a new contract with TNA Wrestling.

Also announced for next week's show is a Lockdown rematch between Magnus and Samoa Joe for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Five-time TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love made her return this week on Impact Wrestling, live from Orlando, FL.  Angelina came down to the ring and asked Velvet Sky to put the band back together, reforming the Beautiful People. However, Velvet was caught off guard by the request, needing more time to make her decision. Will the Beautiful People reunite? Next week we should have our answer.

Willow made his in-ring debut on Impact Wrestling as well this week, taking on Dixie Carter's former Chief of Staff, Rockstar Spud, who MVP made fulfill his contracted obligations as a pro wrestler. Willow – Jeff Hardy in disguise – looks to be a bit more chaotic than his alter ego, intentionally disqualifying himself. Willow then trapped Spud's leg in a steel chair, climbed a ladder, and took the snarky Brit out of commission with a giant splash.

One of the major angles on this week's Impact Wrestling saw Bully Ray attacked in the backstage opening segment, and then spending the rest of his night tracking down members of Team Dixie. First he attacked the TNA Tag Team Champions Robbie E and Jessie Godderz, who had just lost a match to the debuting Sanada and Tigre Uno. Next, Bully Ray found EC3 in gorilla position and took him out as well. In the final moments of Impact, Bully set his sights on the leader of Team Dixie, Bobby Roode. The two brawled in and around the ring, ending with Bully slamming Roode through a table.
