Dolph Ziggler Interview: Talks Stand-Up Comedy, What Motivates Him To Perform, Plus An Interesting Comment About Kofi Kingston Feud

dolph ziggler interviewDolph Ziggler recently did some press to promote an upcoming WWE event in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Ziggler was interviewed by the Democrat Tribune and talked about a variety of things. One of the more interesting comments was the following where he discussed being in an "ongoing feud" with Kofi Kingston:

"Kofi Kingston and I have a good ongoing feud right now. We have been battling for the Inter-Continental and the United State titles the last couple months. We have totally different styles but we somehow compliment each other in ring."

Considering that remark just isn't true, and the interview is definitely new and not something he did a long time ago, it was a bit confusing. Dolph Ziggler also discussed what he does to stay motivated and perform at a high level when he's not feeling his best. Ziggler said the following:

"There are days when you don't feel good, you may be a little banged up or you've had 10 flight delays in the same day. If I was a fan sitting in the audience, I'd be disappointed if a top star didn't wrestle. I want to give the fans a great show so I leave everything that may be bothering me in the dressing room, go out and give the show they want to see and then come back and deal with things that may have had be feeling down."

Ziggler also called Lance Storm, who trained Ziggler, one of his heroes, and said that he knew he wanted to be a wrestler when he was five years old.

My dad took to me an event and I saw Hulk Hogan wrestle Harley Race and I told him that night this is what I wanted to do."

Ziggler also talked about doing stand-up comedy during his free time, having fun on Twitter and much more. You can read the entire Dolph Ziggler interview and feature on DemocratTribune.com
