Aries lands on the ropes as Roode attacks and gets a rollup, and Aries helps Roode with the cover by putting his legs on the ropes for leverage. Aries bulldogs Davey and Roode follows with a backbreaker, then Aries hits a double sledge on the floor before rolling him back in. Davey hits a dropkick and inadvertently gets Roode to DDT Aries, then he hits a double stomp before rolling through into a single leg crab. Aries runs in and hits him with a chair, causing a disqualification, and he hits him a few more times and stomps him before leaving. Referees check on Davey's shoulder as we go to a break, then we get back to see trainers check on Davey while the ref says they have one hour to restart the match, or it's a forfeit.

Samuel Shaw is backstage drinking tea, and he says Christy Hemme's slap last week started something beautiful, and her passion has caused him to also create something himself. He heads to the ring and Christy leaves, then Ken Anderson comes out and says he will fill in for her right now. Anderson announces Shaw as "Creepy Bastard" and says his opponent will whip his ass, then Eric Young makes his entrance.

Eric connects with some mounted punches and Shaw just smiles, then he hits Eric in the corner before Eric comes back with a belly-to-belly for two. Shaw sends him outside and throws him into some chairs, knocking Anderson over in the process before choking Anderson out. Shaw leans down and tells an unconscious Anderson that he is going to claim what's his, and he heads backstage as Christy watches on a monitor and runs away.

After getting an update on Davey Richards, MVP storms through the locker room looking for Austin Aries. He finds him and Aries tries to defend himself, but MVP says he knows what time it is and tells Aries he has no character. Following this, Ethan Carter talks with his aunt Dixie about Kurt Angle lying about his injuries, so she tells him to get the job done while she goes to deal with other business at hand.
