According to PWInsider.com, legendary pro wrestling booker George Scott passed away yesterday at the age of 85.
Scott was well known for booking Mid-Atlantic Wrestling, WWE in the mid-1980s, WCW in the late-1980s and World Class Championship Wrestling. Scott also wrestled during his long tenure in the wrestling business, wrestling for Stampede Wrestling, the Carolinas and what was the pre-cursor to World Class in the 1950s & 1960s.
Scott retired from the wrestling business after his run as booker of WCW in 1989.
