Chris Sabin (w/ Velvet Sky) vs Austin Aries (c)
Sabin makes Velvet give him a good luck kiss so Aries immediately hits an IED for two, then he puts Sabin in Last Chancery but Sabin breaks free. Sabin yells at Velvet for not helping but Aries elbows him for a near fall, then he puts Sabin in a stump puller and gets a near fall. Aries snaps Sabin's head on the ropes and hits a springboard splash for two, then Aries goes for a Brainbuster but Sabin counters with a side suplex. Sabin throws him in the corner but Aries hits a reverse cutter, then they trade off on some kicks but Aries hits a discus forearm and a double sledge on the floor. Aries rolls him back in as Sabin continues to yell at Velvet for help, then Aries hits a missile dropkick and Sabin screams at her to go. Velvet reluctantly gets on the apron and Aries asks her to get down, but Sabin low blows Aries from behind and rolls him up, with Velvet looking a bit upset at her actions. Jeremy Borash asks Sabin for his thoughts after the match, so Sabin thanks the one person who made this possible, himself.

Samuel Shaw vs Norv Fernum
Shaw hits Fernum in the corner and whips him into the opposite turnbuckles, then Fernum kicks him in the stomach but Shaw comes back with a powerslam. Shaw points at Christy Hemme and hits a stepover backbreaker, then he chokes Fernum out with a reverse chicken wing like hold for the win.

James Storm says he is pissed about Gunner and Kurt Angle teaming up, but he isn't surprised because it's not the first partner who changed. He says he is a tag specialist but he needs to do something about this, then he walks into a locker room and says he found who he's looking for. Bobby Roode tells him he doesn't care what Storm wants, but Storm says he should be the untrusting one, not Roode of him. Storm says he will be out there as his partner but Roode says no way, so Storm says they either team up or he still comes to ringside to kick everyone's ass.
