Batista WWE Return Spoiled?
WrestleZone reader Donald sent over this link to www.unlvtickets.com, a Las Vegas ticket vendor website that handles events for the Thomas & Mack Center, Sam Boyd Stadium and Cox Pavilion. On February 16th, 2014, WWE is holding a live event at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLVTickets.com is promoting the "special return of 'The Animal' Batista".
It's been reported lately that a Batista WWE return is possible, and that WWE would like to have the former WWE Champion involved at WrestleMania 30. While this doesn't neccessarily confirm Batista will be returning to WWE, it certainly lends itself to the rumors.
February 16th is a Sunday, so it's highly unlikely this would actually be the official "return" of Batista. Yet, it would still be a plausible and accurate way to promote it due to it being Batista's return to that actual venue.
The first time we see Batista return to WWE would most likely be on a televised event or pay per view. The Royal Rumble, of course, is just a few weeks prior to that event and is always a popular spot for major returns to take place.
Batista left WWE in May of 2010. Since his departure, he's been focusing on an acting career. He also competed in, and won, one mixed martial arts fight.
