TNA Genesis will air as a special edition of Impact Wrestling on January 16th, 2014 from the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Genesis has been airing as an annual pay-per-view for TNA since 2005. Earlier this year, TNA announced its intention to drop from 12 annual pay-per-view events, down to only four; at the time, Genesis was included among the events TNA planned to keep in its rotation.
One interesting note is that with this special Impact airing in Huntsville, we know now that the company still has plans to do some touring for certain televised events. This week's Turning Point episode featured TNA's return to the "new" Impact Zone in Orlando, FL and at this point it is still unknown how much of Impact Wrestling will be tapped in Orlando.
At this point, if TNA doesn't do away with pay-per-view altogether, their next scheduled event would be TNA Lockdown sometime in either March or April.
