TNA Stars Want Outside Work
A number of TNA stars are looking for independent work outside of the company, reports PWInsider, and some are even contacting the promoters directly about working their upcoming evvents. TNA's lack of live events over the next few months have forced the hand of some of the stars.
Most TNA stars only get paid for actual appearances — there's little-to-no guaranteed money at all.
The biggest issue for the talent is that their TNA contract prohibits them from appearing on indy shows who film their events for TV, DVD, or internet pay-per-view. TNA stars are allowed (in most cases) to appear at the live events, but they can't be included in any of those products. This makes it tough on most promoters to justify bringing the TNA star in for the event when they can't include them in any of their sellable, merchandise products.
Matt Hardy Comments on Jeff/TNA
Matt Hardy took to Twitter to comment on his brother Jeff not appearing on this week's episode of Impact Wrestling:
Not cuz he's my brother, but Jeff Hardy is an integral part of TNA succeeding, IMO.. Jeff should be on all the "live" episodes-HE IS A STAR.
