Triple H joins Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox in the ring, and he welcomes everyone but regrets to tell them of Cody Rhodes' firing. He says Cody was fired for just cause, and he was disrespectful to the COO, so essentially he is the WWE. HHH says Cody was disrespectful to each one of the fans, and he gave him a chance to fight for his job, but he failed. HHH says in essence Cody fired himself, and it hurts him because he is friends with Cody and his family, but this comes with the job. He says he is willing to look like the bad guy if it's best for business, so he wants to address the WWE locker room (on stage) and give them an open forum. HHH says they are free to ask whatever they want without punishment, so he wants to know who will be first to step up.

HHH says he can only work for them if they open up to him, and he will work harder to help them and make the WWE grow, but it only happens with honesty. Damien Sandow approaches the microphone and says he supports Cody's firing, because he represented what's bad for business and he thanks HHH for it. HHH says he doesn't want them to kiss his butt and he wants to hear their thoughts, then Kofi Kingston says he wants to be honest. Kofi says they have all been in fear since Cody was fired, and he doesn't think that's good for business because he took a man's career away. HHH tries to explain it but Heath Slater cuts them off, and he says no one cares about that because his problem is with a giant who does nothing. Slater says he likes the job HHH is doing, then HHH sarcastically thanks him and waits for someone else to speak, which is Rob Van Dam.

RVD says HHH was the one who brought him back, but he doesn't like what's going on, dude, then HHH thanks him because he's waited to be called dude for a long time. Ryback says he's sick of being called a bully and HHH says that's fair, and it's not his fault that Dolph Ziggler was injured on Monday. He says Ryback was just doing his job, so he is going to give him another fair chance because Ryback will get a rematch with Dolph tonight. HHH says Daniel Bryan is noticeably absent, and it shows that his ego is out of control and he can't stand on the stage with the 'little people.' He says he wanted to look Bryan in the eye and tell him his plans for the night, which is that Bryan gets to choose one of the members of The Shield for a match. HHH says tonight meant a lot to him, so he's also rewarding Kofi by giving him a non-title match against Curtis Axel, and RVD will face Randy Orton right now.
