WWE Announcer Has a New Job

WWE announcer Scott Stanford has taken a job with WPIX channel 11 out of New York City, and is one half of the news anchor team for the 5PM and 10PM news broadcasts. Stanford made a point to inform his fans on Twitter that he is still with the WWE, and will remain on commentary for WWE Superstars, as well as being involved in various backstage interview segments.

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler is set to face off against former WWE announcer Matt Striker on September 21st at Northeast Wrestling. For the first time ever, Ring of Honor star Davey Richards will wrestle former WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, and several WWE talents are scheduled to appear for signings, including John Layfield, Ron Simmons, Jim Ross and more.
