Darren Young (real name: Fred Rosser) sat down with Matt Lauer of The Today Show this morning, to discuss coming out this week and revealing he was gay.
Young said he was "terrified" about someone else taking the chance to "out" him about being gay before he had the chance to do it himself.
Darren said the incredible support from fellow wrestlers, and even Vince and Stephanie McMahon, was "surprising". He said he even spoke with Jason Collins, an NBA basketball player who recently announced publicly that he was gay, and that Collins gave him some advise on how to handle this situation.
"I'm in love…and I'm a lucky man," Young stated to end the interview.
