AJ runs at Kaz and punches him in the head, then Kaz rolls outside but AJ dives at him before rolling him in and taking him down with a hurricanrana. Kaz retreats to the corner so AJ chops him, then he goes for a corner splash but Kaz avoids it and takes him down with a monkey flip. Kaz punches him a few times and connects with a side kick, then Daniels taunts AJ but AJ comes back with several punches and a diving STO. AJ hits some clotheslines and a back elbow, then he goes for a corner splash but Kaz backdrops him, only AJ lands on the apron and connects with a springboard forearm for two. Kaz comes back with a jawbreaker and a dropkick, then he tries to steal a rollup before AJ counters with the Calf Killer and Kaz taps out.

Mickie James asks a backstage employee to take a ladder to the ring, then she enters the arena and says she knows they want to know what's going on. Mickie climbs the ladder and says you need to crawl, claw and scratch your way to the top, and she's a national recording artist and a spokesperson. She says it's her name on the marquee, and she's the Knockouts Champion, but all she keeps hearing about is the ladder match next week. Mickie says Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim should tear the house down and break everything, because they will never be as good as her. Mickie says whoever wins is going to get hurt, and she will break them and beat them until her title is defended, then she raises her title in the air and kisses it.
It's time for Gut Check and we see a highlight package of the judges talking about both of last week's contestants, Ryan Howe and Adam Ohriner (Big O). After this, Al Snow, Danny Davis and Bruce Prichard are backstage with Ryan Howe and Adam Ohriner, and he says this is tough, but they came to a decision. He hopes both of them are proud of their work, but the one who will face them in the ring is Ryan Howe. Bruce thanks Adam and says he should leave their 'O Zone,' then he shakes their hands on the way out, and we cut to a crew out back. The Main Event Mafia is shown entering the building, and Kurt Angle says their family will grow again, when they meet the fourth member of the group.
