Stars in Progress: Vickie/McMahon Family, Wyatt Debut, Ricardo Rodriquez Suspension

Raw blew last night. There's no denying that, but some fans and columnists are "blowing" that out of proportion. Raw sucks more times than not these days.

Each week, there are a few high points worth bragging about and the majority of it is filler, killing time until the pay per views.

Last night was no different.

Vince McMahonMcMahons vs Vickie – One Step Down

WWE without Vince McMahon just doesn't feel right to me, so I'm all for his regular return to television. But the McMahon triangle, plus the addition of Vickie Guerrero, just doesn't appeal to me in the least.

There are certain traditions I still enjoy in my wrestling. Good vs Evil is one of them. The authority figure role is another one.

A good "boss" is one of the best proven methods to help build stars. Vickie isn't able to do that though with the back-and-forth position she's in right now.

Stephanie struggles acting week in and week out. Triple H doesn't even look right in that position yet — he should be beating people up. And Vince…he's still Vince, but best handled in small doses.

What good is a McMahon feud these days? What's the payoff? How does this remotely help Vickie? How does it help the ones that matter — the superstars? I can't find valid answers to any of those questions.

Some could argue it's early and that I should be patient. I would argue that my exact point (and problem) is that it is in fact early — too early — and we're going to have to endure these segments for a considerable amount of time longer.

And patience isn't something I care to have when I'm not looking forward to what it is I'm waiting on in the first place.
