Impact Wrestling Results (5/23) – Storm Chooses A Partner, New Knockouts Champion, Does AJ Styles Join The Aces?

James Storm comes to the ring and talks about naming his own tag partner for Slammiversary, and how he's been part of two of the greatest teams in TNA history. Storm says he's done it twice already, so why not do it three times… then Bobby Roode and Austin Aries cut him off and ask if he wants to talk about glory days. Roode says he was the better half of their team, but Storm made his life terrible for four years, and hitting him with a beer bottle made him happy. Roode says Storm will remember that for the rest of his life, so they should get to it and announce his partner already.

Bad Influence follow them out and Daniels says this town is a joke, and he could tell a joke about how these other three teams think they could beat them. Kaz says alot of people have been angry, but they have a reason to be, and they don't care who Storm picks as his partner. Kaz keeps going and Storm tells them to shut up and get to his point, then Sharkboy returns and goes right to the ring and none of the teams can believe it. Sharkboy says he heard Storm needed a partner and they have a lot in common, and they both like to kick ass and drink some beer. Sharkboy asks for the crowd's approval before Robbie E makes his way out, and he points at Sharkboy and tells him to give him the mic.

Robbie E says Storm doesn't want to partner with a loser, and he needs a championship partner like him. Robbie says he carried Rob Terry for two years, and he even came up with a few team names for him. Robbie reads off a bunch names that have 'Bro' in them, then the final one is 'Hairspray and Drink All Day,' which he says can be their team name. Gunner runs in through the crowd and takes Robbie and Sharkboy out, then he puts Robbie in a Torture Rack before Storm shakes his hand and says he'll see him at Slammiversary.
