5/13 WWE Monday Night Raw Results – Does John Cena Give The Shield Their First Loss?

WWE Monday Night Raw
May 13, 2013

A video package opens the show reviewing the feud between WWE Champion John Cena and Ryback, as well as the bitter rivalry between Triple H and Brock Lesnar.

As we cut to the live arena, Jerry "The King" Lawler is already in the ring, and announces that Chris Jericho and Fandango will face off in a match at Extreme Rules this Sunday. Fandango makes his way down first, accompanied by NXT Diva Summer Rae. Y2J is up next, and he makes his way down with world-renowned dancer, Edyta Sliwinska. Lawler explains the rules, which are pretty simple – they dance, and the WWE Universe decides who wins. Jericho cuts a promo and tells Fandango after this Sunday, he will never…eveeeer…be the same again.

Fandango is up first, and after about 20 seconds of doing nothing, the crowd starts to boo him heavily, and a big "you suck" chant breaks out. He says he's trying to "create a moment" and they start again – Summer twists her ankle and collapses to the floor. Fandango starts to yell at her, and leaves the ring as Y2J and Edyta check on the injured Diva. Fandango attacks from behind, and levels Jericho with a big boot, followed up by a dozen right hands to the head. The mugging continues to the outside, as Fandango sends him into the steel steps, and then shoulder-first into the barricade. He removes a piece of wooden flooring that was set up in the ring, and bashes it upside his Y2J's face, knocking him out.

Fandango heads beak into the ring and stares down Summer who is still hurt in the corner. She springs back up to her feet and reveals that she was just faking it the whole time. The two dance around the ring and up the entrance ramp as medics attend to Chris Jericho.

There's a 6-man elimination tag match set for tonight's main event with The Shield taking on Daniel Bryan, Kane and John Cena.
