4/1 WWE Monday Night Raw Results – Rock/Cena Have Final Words Before WrestleMania, HBK Returns & More

WWE Monday Night Raw
April 1, 2013

Location: Washington D.C.
Commentary: Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & JBL

Happy April Fool's Day wrestling fans, and welcome to the final episode of Monday Night Raw before WrestleMania!

The pre-show video package announces that WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will return to Raw tonight, to confront Brock Lesnar.

John Cena kicks off tonight's show live from Washingston D.C. and almost gets boo'd out of the building! We have a very anti-Cena crowd on our hands tonight, apparently. He talks about the republicans and the democrats and calls Washingon a "house" divided – ironically. Cena says it's not secret that he and the Rock do not like each other, but there's respect because the Great One is worthy of being called the WWE Champion. He yells a bunch of things about the Rock's time being up as the crowd tells him "Cena sucks".

Cena goes on about the WWE Championship, and having to wait behind a curtain as the Rock got to debut a belt that pretty much said he could be the champion as long as he damn well pleases. The crowd gives him a "boring" chant and Cena rolls his eyes. "The champ is here" and this 13-minute promo is over.

3MB vs. Randy Orton, Sheamus & Big Show

Orton starts this match off against Heath Slater, and quickly levels him with a shoulder tackle. In comes Sheamus, who goes to work in the corner with stiff rights and lefts. Slater tries to battle out of the corner and manages to catch the "Celtic Warrior" with a kick to the jaw, tagging in Drew McIntyre. Mahal distracts Sheamus and Drew takes advantage with a missile dropkick out of the corner, before tagging in Jinder.

Big Show tags in and all hell breaks looks. Randy Orton with the RKO to Heath Slater, while Drew McIntyre eats the Brogue Kick from Sheamus. Big Show with the K.O. Punch on Jinder Mahal. 1-2-3

Results: Big Show, Sheamus & Randy Orton win via pinfall

The Shield make their way out through the crowd, but they stop short of the ringside area. Dean Ambrose tells them to celebrate their big victory – mockingly of course – because it's the last one they're going to have. He tells the trio in the ring that the Shield is going to leave them on their backs at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins tells them they know the truth. Roman Reigns says the "truth" is the faces aren't a team, and when they get beaten at WrestleMania, the whole world will believe in The Shield.
