"The Call" Expected To Be WWE Studios Most Successful Release
According to BoxOfficeMojo.com figures, WWE Studios' "The Call" is on pace to generate another $9 million at the box office this week making it the most successful WWE related film to date. The film has already generated an estimated $24 million with a listed production budget of $13 million.
ECW Original Set to Retire at PWS Events in Less Than 2 Weeks
ECW original New Jack has confirmed that his last matches ever will be at Pro Wrestling Syndicate's Super Card 2013 on Thursday April 4th and Friday April 5th in Metuchen NJ.
On April 4th he will be part of an All Out War Hardcore Scramble which includes Tommy Dreamer, The Almighty Sheik, Necro Butcher, Lucifer Darksyde, Devon Moore, and Apollyon. On April 5th New Jack will compete in his final match ever; a one on one first time ever meeting against Necro Butcher.
PWS is very humbled that New Jack has decided to choose PWS to be the place where he will end his illustrious 21 year career, especially on the heels of February's "Thank You Jerry" event where PWS celebrated the career of fellow former ECW superstar Jerry Lynn with Lynn vs Lance Storm which was Lynn's last match ever in the state of NJ.
Also bidding farewell at PWS Super Card will be The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff whom will be making their final appearance ever on Super Card Night 1 on Thursday April 4th.
