We get back from a break to see Dolph get a near fall, then he applies a headlock but Alberto fights to his feet and goes for a sunset flip rollup. Dolph comes back with a kick to the head for a near fall, then he goes back to a headlock but Alberto whips him in the corner and throws him up in the air. Alberto kicks him in the face, then Dolph misses a corner splash and Alberto punches him in the back before hitting an inverted superplex. Alberto gets fired up and hits a few clotheslines, then he connects with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before superkicking him for a near fall.
Alberto calls for the Cross Armbreaker but Dolph goes for a clothesline, then Alberto ducks it and whips him into the corner before hitting some kidney punches. Alberto hits a Backstabber from the ropes, then he heads up top but Dolph dropkicks him midair and rolls him up for a close near fall. Dolph goes for a legdrop bulldog but Alberto counters with a release suplex, then he rallies the crowd and tries to connect with a running enziguiri. Dolph counters with a tornado DDT for two, then he goes for a sleeperhold but Alberto holds the ropes and tries to attack him. Dolph ducks and tries to roll him up, but Alberto spins around and gets him to tap to the Cross Armbreaker.

AJ is drying off when Daniel Bryan walks over and asks what happened, then she asks what he wants and he says she looks like a wet pony. She asks if he is still hung up on getting left at the altar, and he shakes his head yes so AJ says she is over it and she's with a real man now. AJ talks about Dolph being a future champion, but Bryan says the difference is he didn't have a briefcase for the whole time, he was actually champion. She mocks him and says he lost it in 18 seconds and Dolph knows how to handle himself, but Bryan says she should be used to things lasting 18 seconds with Dolph before smiling and leaving.
