2/28 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – New Champion Crowned, Kurt Angle Uncovers the Leader of Aces & Eights

TNA Impact Wrestling
February 28th, 2013

Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray enter the arena and get stopped by a camera crew asking for an update on the condition of Hulk Hogan. Brooke tells them he's doing better, but suffered a pretty serious injury and he stayed home tonight.

The pyro goes off while Todd Keneley and Mike Tenay welcome us to Impact Wrestling, as Bully Ray makes his way down to the ring. He runs down the list of guys taken out by Aces & Eights, which concluded with them ruining his wedding last month. Bully promises to hurt Devon so bad that he will never want to step foot in a wrestling ring ever again. He then introduces us to the returning World Heavyweight Champion…Jeff Hardy!

Bully puts over their match for the title at Lockdown, but said he doesn't want to get in line just because he's Hulk Hogan's son-in-law. He says there were a lot of other guys to consider, that actually fought for their chance at the title. Jeff brings up their history and says he would chosen Bully over anybody else. He says they've climbed a lot of ladders, broken a lot of tables and at Lockdown they're going to reinvent their history. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian interrupt the two before they can shake hands.

Kaz calls Hulk Hogan "Thunder Lips" and brings up his tasteless photos of Brooke. Daniels tells Hardy that he out-wrestled him like he was Lou Thesz favorite son, and the only reason he lost was an allergic reaction to the champ's face paint. Bully Ray takes Daniels' drink and throws it in his face. The tag match is booked for tonight's main event!
