The Latest on Ric Flair's Status
As we previously reported, Ric Flair was forced to pull out of a recently scheduled All Japan Pro Wrestling match when a pre-event physical revealed a blood clot in Flair's leg. F4WOnline.com is reporting that despite the dangers of taking a 7+ hour flight from Japan to the United States, Flair insisted on not being checked into a Japanese hospital and made the flight back to the State.
Flair is now in California, and while WWE wanted to bring Flair in for its TV tapings this week, it is unknown whether or not he will appear at tonight's Smackdown tapings in San Diego.
Ziggler Crashes Sheamus' Birthday Celebration After Raw
After Raw went off the air last night, WWE officials tended to Vince McMahon and eventually brought him to the back. John Cena came out and said that Vince would not want the night to end on a down note, so he brought Sheamus out and told the crowd that it was Sheamus' birthday.
The crowd then sang happy birthday to Sheamus, and a cake was brought out to the ring. Dolph Ziggler's music eventually hit, and he came out to interrupt the celebration. Cena and Sheamus both hit their finishers on Ziggler, Cena revives Dolph with a bottle of water, then Sheamus hits him in the face with some birthday cake to end the show.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
