John Cena Continues Big Endorsement Deal, “Knocks Off” Popular Character

John CenaWWE has agreed with Post Cereals to expand their marketing agreement. Post will have a cartoon version of John Cena on their boxes in limited edition models of the box, which will move Fred Flintstone from the cover.

Last Year, WWE struck a deal with Post after The Rock mentioned John Cena and being a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. The Rock was referring to Cena and his multiple colors of shirts over the past decade.

This will cause fans to wonder about the TV-PG and TV-14 rating, a popular gripe amongst internet wrestling fans around the world.

"It doesn't happen overnight," said Andrew Judelson, WWE's Executive VP of sales and sponsorship. "Just because we say we've moved to PG doesn't mean corporate America immediately is going to respond."

It looks like this will be just the beginning of many more endorsement deals for the WWE, especially with the next few months heading into Wrestlemania 29.
