PWTorch.com is reporting the 12/28 edition of Smackdown pulled in a 1.86 rating. This is slightly up from the 1.81 ratings the showed scored for several episodes aired in late November and early December. By comparison, the Tuesday night special airing of Smackdown, which aired on December 18th, drew a 2.29 rating.
The 12/28 edition of Smackdown averaged 2.66 million viewers, which was also slightly up from the 2.55 million average viewers from late November and early December. Smackdown ranked #5 in overall viewers and #3 among males 18-34 & 18-49 on Friday night, and it came in behind ESPN's airings of college football bowl games.
