Sixth Match: WWE Universe Choice Tag Team Match
Matt Striker told us to text a letter to a certain number to choose what song the loser of this tag team match would have to sing.
Option A was Jingle Bells and Option B was Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Option B was the winner
The Great Khali and Horsnwoggle w/Natalya defeated Primo and Epico w/Rosa Mendes
Very comedic based match the finish came with Hornswoggle pinning Epico with the Tadpole Splash. After the match Primo and Epico start fighting with each other then all three of them starting to sing a Spanish verison of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer which drew alot of heat in the building.
Seventh Match: Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) defeated Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio
This was amazing match the crowd was really invested in this match. I would love to see this match happen sometime in PPV or a future RAW either way this match was amazing. Kofi Kingston wins with hitting the Trouble to Paradise on Wade Barrett to retains his championship.
Eight Match: WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
After the match was over Wade Barrett was boasting to the crowd for the fact that he was a Bare Knuckle Fighting Champion and that he wasn't going anywhere until Kofi Kingston gave him another title match. Kofi obliges and once Kofi came in the ring Barrett attacked Kingston. The match was short. Kofi Kingston retained the title after delivering two Trouble of Paradise to Wade Barrett.
Ninth Match:
Ted DiBiase defeated Wade Barrett
YES! YES! You won't believe but Wade Barrett fought and lost three matches tonight. After losing to Kofi for the second straight match Barrett challenged any member of the SmackDown roster who was in Chicago tonight to a match. Ted DiBiase comes out with streets clothes and beat Wade Barrett with the Dream Street. Great to see Ted DiBiase step up his game tonight.
They set up the steel cage for tonight's main event. This like 10 minuets.
Tenth Match: Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
The Big Show (c) defeated Sheamus
I saw all three matches these guys had from Hell in a Cell, Survivor Series, and TLC. None of those matches pale in comparison to what I and 14, 000 Chicagoans saw tonight. There alot of back and forth action there alot of use of steel cage in this match. Tons of false finishes and big bumps taking off the top of the cage from both guys. The finished came up when Sheamus try to connect his second Brouge Kick on the World Champion. Big Show ducks out of the way and hits Sheamus with the WMD!!! and escape the cage to retain his championship.
Dark Match: 6 Man Tag Team Match: Chicago Special
Matt Striker told the live crowd that u should be proud of your self and said each time we come here u continue show us that you guys are indeed an amazing wrestling city. In the spirits of the holidays Striker convince us to stay for a big surprise 6 Man Tag Team Match.
The surprise was The Shield vs. Team Hell No and Ryback
Team Hell No and Ryback defeated The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Regins).
This was a good tag team wrestling match. The crowd was really hot when Daniel Bryan and Kane came out and infinite YES! YES! YES! were bursting in the air. Ryback pickups the victory after hitting the Shellshocked on Dean Ambrose. After the match Team Hell No starting their skit with "I'm the Tag Team Champions."
If you haven't known already the hug it out segment started here in Chicago on the September 3rd edition of Monday Night RAW.
Fans chanted for them to Hug It Out! So they do. Then very funny moment when the fans were telling Ryback to hug Daniel Bryan while Bryan was doing the "Feed Me More" Chants. Ryback didn't hug Daniel Bryan but the shook hands and that was the end of the show.
It was a really chaotic show an very entertaining show. They gave us a little bit of everything they give low card talent more time in the ring, All the matches tonight serve it's purpose and i was very entertain tonight.
