James Storm is backstage, saying that people shouldn't be talking about his family or his daughter. AJ Styles says Storm shouldn't be whining, because he can still challenge for the World Title. He says he can't challenge for a whole year, and that is something to whine about. Storm tells AJ to focus on their tag team match, rather than the past. Styles shakes his head and says "sure, that's what I'm gonna do" as he walks off.
Commercial Break
Hogan is finally back to his locker room, and confronts Austin Aries. The challengers all sit down, and he asks Kenny King why he should give him the shot tonight. King says he showed up out of nowhere at Destination X, and made a big impact. Zema says he's the only guy who hasn't changed his focus from the X-Division; Kid Kash takes exception to this and says he started the X-Division. Austin Aries chimes in and says that if Kash won the title twice, that means he's lost it three times (…wut?). Hogan tells Kenny King to get lost, as well as the lot of them.
Bobby Roode comes to the ring and talks about how Jeff Hardy "almost lost" to a rookie last week. He tells Hardy he's not impressed. Roode says that if you want to make a name for yourself in TNA, you don't call out a "paper champion" like Hardy, you call out the longest reigning Champion in TNA history. Out comes Christian York and Roode tells him to stop. Roode tries to give him advice, telling him that nobody (and he means nobody) can interrupt the leader of the selfish generation. York decks him in the face and Roode bails from the ring. York started his promo with "hey yo!" (YES! HUGE POP!) and says he is officially calling out Bobby Roode.
2. Bobby Roode vs. Christian York
York gets some shoulder tackles and a standing clothesline before again heading up to the top rope. Double foot stomp connects on Roode's back, followed by a running…barrel roll…into the corner. York tries for his finisher, the Mood Swing, but Roode counters and goes for a Fisherman's Suplex; York rolls through into a small package, but Roode kicks out at two. Bobby can't believe what's going on, and snaps. He locks in the Crossface and York is forced to tap out.
Winner: Bobby Roode
Following the match Roode held the crossface for about thirty seconds. He finally breaks the hold as Hebner motions to DQ him, but grabs a steel chair instead. Jeff Hardy makes the save and tries for the Twist of Fate, but Roode sneaks out of the ring just in time.
