TNA Impact Wrestling Results

The leader of Aces & Eights is sitting at the head of a table to open Impact. As the camera pans out, Devon and Luke Gallows are next to him, along with a few other masked members. The leader tells Gallows that he's a failure as an agent of chaos, and Gallows says he knows he let everyone down by getting his masked removed. Devon says that it's going to be the two of them taking on Sting and Kurt Angle at Turning Point this Sunday.
The pyro goes off and Todd and JB welcome us to the final TNA Impact Wrestling before Turning Point! "The Cowboy" James Storm makes his way out and takes a seat at the announce booth, as he's going "scout some talent" in the next match.
(1) AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode
The two lock up in the middle of the ring, trading grapples until Roode brings down AJ into a wrist lock on the mpa. Styles turns it on Roode and forces the same hold on his opponent. They get back to their feet and Roode breaks the hold first, sending Styles down with a standing dropkick. Roode rolls to the outside, but Styles quickly joins him, and sends him flying with a Irish whip into the steel ring steps. They roll back in the ring and Styles hits a body slam for a two-count.
Roode back to his feet, and the two trade right hands with Roode getting the advantage. AJ backs off, and Roode chases him, only to run into a big back body drop. Roode into the corner to recover, and Styles runs into a big elbow. Roode tackles his opponent down and starts in on the mat game as we go to our first commercial break.
Commercial Break
As we come back, both men are down in the ring. Roode gets up first, and drops an elbow on his downed opponent. Styles fights with rights and lefts, followed by some elbows to get Roode into the corner. Styles backs off to get a running start, but Roode nails him with a clothesline. He locks in a rear choke hold, and brings AJ down to the mat. Styles looks like he's fading, but the Impact Zone wills him back into it. The "Phenomenal One" finally gets to his feet and elbows his way out of the hold. Big Pele kick to Roode, sending the former World Champion down!
Roode stumbles into the corner, and Styles follows up with a splash. He sets his opponent on the top rop, and jumps up to join him, sending him back to Earth with a top rope hurricanrana! Styles sets Roode up for the Styles Clash, but Roode kicks him in the head until he's forced to drop him. Styles goes for another Pele kick, but Roode moves out of the way and hits a pinning Fisherman's Suplex, but gets a VERY close two-count! Roode gets frustrated and heads out of the ring to get a steel chair. James Storm leaves commentary to even the odds, which distracts Roode long enough for AJ to come off the top rope and take him out!
Roode eventually rolls back into the ring as AJ stares down James Storm on the entrance ramp. Styles goes up to the apron and goes for the springboard, but Roode knocks him off and Styles comes down very hard. Roode gets the three-count for the win.
