NWA Title Controversy Involving Former WWE Star Colt Cabana

Former WWE Superstar Colt Cabana wrestled NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce in the final match of their Seven Levels of Hate series, last night in Melbourne, Australia. While Cabana won the series inside a steel cage, NWA refused to sanction the match for the World Title, leaving the belt around Pearce's waist.

However, following the match Pearce revealed that he planned to honor his promise to leave the NWA forever, if he lost the series to Colt, and offered the title to the "new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world." Cabana originally took the belt, but then called NWA management "morons" and "idiots" and claimed they represented the past, where companies didn't care about professional wrestlers.

Neither Colt Cabana or Adam Pearce accepted the NWA World title, and they ended the night with the belt left lying in the center of the ring. Below is a video of the events following their championship match.
