WWE RAW Results (10/22) – AJ Fired & Replacement Named, Gabriel Gets Upset Win, Punk vs Sheamus Lumberjack Match

Alberto Del Rio vs Zack Ryder

Alberto kicks Zack in the ribs and puts him in a headlock, but Zack punches out of it and surprises Alberto with a sunset slip rollup for a two count. Alberto kicks him in the face and puts him in a grounded armbar, then Zack elbows him in the head and hits a few clotheslines before kneeing him in the face. Zack sets up a Broski Boot but Alberto rolls away, then Alberto kicks him in the shoulder and makes him tap out to the Cross Armbreaker. Alberto calls Zack 'Randy' and says he'll cut the snake's head off at Hell In A Cell, then he puts Zack in the Cross Armbreaker and calls himself the new Apex Predator. Ricardo stands over them and repeatedly screams Alberto's name, then Alberto finally lets go and mockingly does the 'Orton pose' before leaving.

Winner – Alberto Del Rio

Vickie Guerrero is advising a crew to get rid of AJ's belongings, then John Cena walks in and asks what exactly she thinks she is doing. Vickie says she is in charge but Cena calls her a backstabbing liar, and he says that's being polite, but Vickie says she didn't do anything wrong and it's Cena's fault. Cena says she cost AJ her job, but Vickie says Cena asked AJ to dinner and he is the one who made everything look bad. Vickie says Cena should have known better, but the perception is Cena acted on this and cost AJ her job, and she is just taking over for her.

Josh Mathews joins Dolph Ziggler for an interview, and Dolph says he's as confident as ever but this AJ situation is putting a damper on his night. Dolph says AJ shouldn't have attacked Vickie, but she also fraternized with a Superstar and she has no one to blame but… John Cena. Dolph says he thought AJ was a 'good egg' but he was wrong, and he thought she would have had better taste than getting together with Cena. He says AJ attacked Vickie again tonight, and you can't have actions without consequences, so he hopes Cena is really happy after what he has done.
