(Note: Michael Cole says he received an update that he hopes is encouraging, and says Lawler is responding to light shined in his eyes. He says Lawler is awaiting a CAT scan, and sends his prayers to Lawler and tells him to fight like he always has.)
Bret Hart comes out and introduces John Cena, and they shake hands before Cena thanks him for the interview. Bret says he sees the issues with CM Punk, and he says it reminds him of the problems he had with Shawn Michaels. He says they had mutual respect for each other but the title drove them apart, and he says he sees himself in Cena. Bret says he sees alot of the "old" Shawn in Punk, and Cena thanks him for the compliment, but he says Punk and HBK are worlds apart. Cena says Shawn always owned up to being a jerk, and Punk calls himself the best, but he's a desperate man full of excuses. Bret asks Cena how he will beat Punk and calls him a phony, then Punk comes out and asks if he really said that.
Cena says Bret said it, and he's calling him a phony too, so he can stay on the ramp or come down to the ring and make the worst decision of his life. Punk says it's funny because Cena is acting like a hypocrite right now, and all he did was come out to defend his name, but he sees how alike the two of them are. He says that wasn't a compliment, and they both forgot to mention that they were unceremoniously passed over by someone better than them. Punk says Cena is being passed by him, and Bret got passed by Shawn, and he says he's better than Shawn Michaels. He says he's also better than that redneck Steve Austin, and the Rock, and he's the best wrestler and talker because he is it, and he's not just talking. (Cont'd…)
