WWE Summerslam Results (8/19) – Y2J/Ziggler, The “Perfect Storm” Hits Hard, Does Punk Earn Respect?

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman join Matt Striker for an interview, and Heyman puts his client over before mentioning HHH used his influence on a referee tonight. He says HHH told the referee to use his discretion and let them fight, but Brock is going to finish him off once and for all. Brock says he's going to destroy HHH because it's a fight he can't win, then Heyman says they have two words for them, and they are "tap out."

Daniel Bryan vs Kane

Bryan kicks Kane a few times before Kane catches his leg and knocks him down, then Kane punches him in the corner and whips him across the ring. Bryan tries to take him down with a waistlock but Kane hits him with a big boot, then Bryan dropkicks his knee and kicks him in the legs. He continues to kick him in the legs in the corner, then Kane gets pissed and chokebombs Bryan over the ropes and goes after him on the floor. Bryan avoids him and dropkicks him under the ropes, then he goes up top and hits a missile dropkick for a two count before losing his composure.

The fans get under his skin with the "YES!" chants so he repeatedly kicks Kane in the chest, then Kane ducks a final kick and slams Bryan on the mat. Kane whips him across the ring and hits a clothesline, then he sends him to the opposite corner and hits another clothesline before following with a side slam for a two count. Kane climbs the turnbuckles and hits a top rope clothesline, then he calls for a chokeslam but Bryan slides out and snaps Kane's arm on the top rope. Bryan slaps Kane in the face and Kane gets pissed and pummels him in the corner, then the ref says he'll disqualify him if he doesn't stop. Kane backs off and Bryan hits a dropkick, then he goes for a NO! Lock but Kane powers out so Bryan kicks him in the head.(Cont'd…)
