WWE House Show Results (8/11): Biloxi, MS

Match 3: Layla def Aksana to retain Diva's Championship (~5 minutes)

This was pretty bad.  Match started out with both vying for the crowd's affection through posing and dancing, crowd would cheer for Layla and sat on their hands for Aksana.  They started to wrestle, with some basic pin and cradle attempts, including Layla attempting a CIMA style flip-over majistral that didn't really come together. Aksana at one point attempted an standing elbow drop, but somehow missed Layla completely. Layla won with a Shining Wizard.  *1/2

Paul Bearer comes out.  Claims to have been recently thawed out.  He starts to talk about his first match being in the Coast Coliseum back in 1978 when he worked for Mid-South. Didn't mention any names.  Heath Slater interrupted for a surprisingly big pop.  Talked about how he put all the legends back to the retirement home, and tonight, Bearer shouldn't be any challenge.  Bearer says that even though Kane and The Undertaker aren't here tonight, he does know of a hungry challenger that should be enough for Slater.  Enter The Ryback.

Match Four:  The Ryback def Heath Slater (~2 minutes)

Exactly the same kind of match from Raw.  You'd think they'd be using these house shows to let Ryback get used to working longer style matches, but I guess that isn't the case here.  Chants of Goldberg reverberate throughout the building.  Ryback hits the Fishermans Samoan Drop to win.  DUD

Match Five:  The Miz def Christian to defend the Intercontinental Championship in a Street Fight (~20 minutes)

Good match.  Both guys hit their trademark stuff, Miz getting the heat on Christian for the majority of it.  Miz undid the corner turnbuckle early on, Christian teased whipping Miz into it many times.  Miz brought out a Kendo stick to wail on Christian.  Used the stick on Christian in a camel clutch.  Christian gained control of the stick, Miz bailed and teased walking out with the title.  Christian chased him up the ramp with the stick, got clocked with the belt.   Miz brought Christian back to the ring (Aren't street fights Falls Count Anywhere by default?) and wailed on him with the stick.  Miz went to the corner while Christian tried to get up teasing a spear.  Miz charged him, ate a boot.  Christian grabbed the stick, and let loose on Miz, hitting him over the back many times.  Christian went for a Killswitch, Miz reversed it into a Skull Crushing Finale attempt, Christian reversed it into a Killswitch attempt again, got shoved facefirst into the exposed turnbuckle.  Miz schoolboys him while holding the tights, and retains the title.  ***

They went to an intermission.  WWE Returns to Biloxi for a Smackdown Taping following Elimination Chamber next February.

AJ Started the second half of the show saying there is a bonus match that has been signed just now for the Biloxi crowd.  That match?
