Impact Wrestling Results (8/2) – New KO’s #1 Contender, Chavo’s In Ring Debut, Storm/Angle BFG Series

Kurt Angle is talking with Wes Brisco, and Kurt asks how his father is before asking what he is doing there. Brisco says he has been training and wants to be a wrestler, then he asks Kurt to help him out. Kurt asks if he wants to wrestle him, then Brisco says he would appreciate it if Kurt put a good word into Hulk Hogan for him. Devon and Garret Bischoff walk in and say hello, then they recruit Kurt to take care of Aces and Eights since he already got attacked twice. Kurt says he is with them, then Devon and Garret leave, and Kurt asks about his plans and Brisco says he wants to party after the show.

Dixie Carter is seen backstage talking about the AJ Styles situation, and she says they haven't heard her side yet but it's way past time for AJ to speak up. While this is going on, Christopher Dainels and Kazarian are shown heading to the ring with gifts as we go to a commercial break. Kaz and Daniels are in the ring when we get back, and they say AJ is probably knocking up another girl in Australia, but they want Claire to come to the ring for her party. They tell her AJ's redneck family should be doing this, and she looks confused but they unwrap some gifts and show her diapers and clothes. Daniels shows her a baby doll in AJ's ring gear, then Claire breaks down and screams at the camera. She says AJ needs to do the right thing for their child, then she leaves with the doll being held like an infant.

Joseph Park is shown taking a phone call backstage, and he says he doesn't have any plans for more matches, but he needs to get back to work. Park says his law firm is being retained for representation, and he approaches Sting and asks if he too would also like to keep him around. Sting says he is covered, but he wants to know how Park hit a picture perfect Black Hole Slam in a match with Bully Ray. Park says he doesn't know what he means, then he pulls him in for a picture and says he is going to Tweet it out to his followers.
