Thanks to Andrew Herron for sending this in:
Hey folks, I went to the Smackdown House Show in Johnson City, TN on 7/28/2012.
These were the results:
Ted Dibiase v. Hunico went to a no decision after Camacho interfered as Dibiase was about unleash a can of Dreamstreet on Hunico. Then a beatdown ensued with Drew McIntyre jumping in to save the day. Then the match turned into a tag match between Dibiase and McIntyre v. Hunico and Camacho. Dibiase and McIntyre won, as the crowd chanted "USA" throughout the night. More on this later.
Next, we have Jinder Mahal v. "Showtime" Percy Watson. Why Percy isn't on TV is beyond me. More "USA" chants, but Jinder prevails.
Followed by Natalya v. Kaitlyn. Typical divas match. Nothing to write about. Kaitlyn wins with roll up. More "USA" chants.
Next was Sheamus v. Alberto Del Rio in a Last Man Standing match. The match of the night by leaps and bounds. The crowd was super into this match- anyone who would suggest that Sheamus is NOT over, needs to listen the pop when he comes out. Sheamus wins with the Brogue kick along with, you guessed it, "USA" chants.
Intermission
Justin Gabriel v. Leo Kruger. Is it just me or does Leo Kruger look like the guy from Dinner with Schmucks? Gabriel takes it!
Chris Jericho and Christian v. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes. This was a very entertaining match. Dolph Ziggler came out wearing a "Jericho Wannabe" t-shirt, which eventually got tore off of him- think Happy Gilmore. Jericho and Christian win. After Jericho and Christian spoke about living in the area at one time, and Jericho thanked the crowd.
Main event:
Kane v. Daniel Bryan v. CM Punk was our main event for the WWE Title. Great match, with CM Punk being the face. Great back and forth between Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. Best exchange was CM Punk "hulking up" on Daniel Bryan, complete with the big boot and leg drop. Punk retains!
Overall, great show and I can't wait for WWE to return to JC in the near future!
