Roode hits a snap suplex and a running knee drop for another near fall, then he puts Aries in a side headlock and screams "fluke" at him again. Aries stands up and throws some elbows, then he runs the ropes but Roode knocks him to the mat and says he wants his title before stomping him. Roode kicks him in the corner but the ref tells him to back away, then they trade punches and chops until Roode counters a discus punch with a Crossface. Aries counters the submission with Last Chancery, and Roode looks like he wants to tap but he ends up raking Aries' eyes.
Aries kicks out of a pin attempt following a spear, then he rams his shoulder into Aries' stomach and sets him up on the top rope. Roode lifts him for a superplex but Aries knees him in the head, then he kicks him in the head and follows with a missile dropkick when Roode turns around. Aries hits an IED dropkick and calls for a Brainbuster, then Roode counters with a Crossface and Aries crawls for the ropes but Roode rolls back to the middle of the ring. Aries tries to roll him up but Roode kicks out, then he hits a discus punch and a clothesline before throwing Roode outside.
Aries connects with a suicide dive, then he goes after Roode but Aces and Eights runs from the crowd and attacks him. The ref calls for the bell as they roll Aries in the ring, then one of the group members knocks the ref out as Roode smiles in the corner. He gets up and claps for them, then he offers a handshake but they attack him and beat the hell out of both Roode and Aries as the show ends.
