WWE Smackdown Results (6/15) – Number One Contenders Team Up Against Punk/Sheamus, Cena Calls Out Big Show

Brodus Clay vs Heath Slater

Brodus Clay says he wants to get down to business, and he was banned from RAW so would get fired if he touches Big Show. He thinks John Cena is going to take care of things this Sunday, so he will listen to John Laurinaitis' advice if he gets some competition. Brodus asks who Johnny has for him, then Heath Slater comes out and the bell rings to start the match. Brodus whips Slater into the corner, then he hits a T-Bone suplex and a Funk It splash for the win. Brodus starts dancing postmatch, but David Otunga runs out and attacks him, then he starts focusing on Brodus' knee. Otunga pulls him to the apron and jumps on his leg, then he snaps it down a few times before leaving.

Winner – Brodus Clay

Beth Phoenix vs Alicia Fox

Beth throws Alicia in the corner and whips her across the ring, but Alicia springboards back at her and knocks her down. Beth comes back with a backbreaker, then she hits a Glam Slam for the win before smiling at Layla (at commentary) before she leaves.

Winner – Beth Phoenix

John Laurinaitis comes out and says he wanted to make a public apology, and he tells Vince McMahon he is sorry, but Vince should stay away from Big Show. He plays a clip before talking about putting his job on the line at Wrestlemania and beating John Cena at Over The Limit, then Big Show joins him in the ring. Show says he doesn't have to lie about what happened on Monday night, but if he did he might get fired. He says he would still get paid millions of dollars, and he is reminded of when he was held back in WCW and decided to jump to WWE. (Cont'd…)
