F4Wonline.com is reporting that WWE's decision to suspend Chris Jeicho after kicking the Brazilian flag at a WWE event in Brazil was largely political.

Reportedly, the suspension was to avoid Connecticut voters reading about a WWE talent defacing an international flag and how this would hurt Linda McMahon's political campaign.
