Slammiversary Meet & Greet Cut Short, WWE Gets New Library

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the TNA Slammiversary meet and greet, which took place in Arlington, TX last night, was considered to be a disappointment.

The event was scheduled to take place from 7-9pm, however, due to low attendance, most of the fans were gone by 8pm, which forced TNA to cut the event short. Some fans then arrived late, only to find no one at the meet and greet site.

WWE Gets New Library

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has acquired the rights to Bill Watts’ Mid-South Wrestling video library, which includes Mid-South Wrestling, Mid-South’s Power Pro Wrestling TV and Universal Championship Wrestling.

The video library was previously owned by Watt’s wife, who acquired it in the couple’s divorce settlement. The video library is now said to be the largest collection owned by WWE.
