Jeff Jarrett

Update on Jarrett/TNA Hall of Fame, More on Del Rio’s Status

In what is either a work or a shoot, Karen Jarrett is trying very hard to convince fans on Twitter that Jeff Jarrett is NOT the first TNA Hall of Fame inductee, which will be announced tonight at Slammiversary.

Furthermore, Karen Jarrett has noted several times on Twitter that she and Jeff will not be at the PPV tonight, and has been openly expressing her disappointment in TNA’s “decision” not to induct Jeff first.

More on Del Rio’s Status

As we reported last night, Alberto Del Rio suffered a concussion during this past Tuesday night’s Smackdown taping, and as a result was pulled from last night’s house show event in Salisbury, MD.

WZ reader Marc Smith noted that Del Rio was replaced in the main event by Kane, who had won a match earlier in the night against The Great Khali to see who would face Sheamus in a steel cage match.

WZ’s Chris Cash noted earlier today that the original source of the Del Rio injury news actually came from a blog written by Cory Radford, which was posted on June 8th. Only after this blog was posted did the story receive confirmation from other, larger pro wrestling websites. You can check out Radford’s blog by clicking on the above link.
