WZ's Mark Madden sounded off on Twitter Thursday, noting that there are some within WWE that want Randy Orton gone from the company following his 60 day suspension. Madden Tweeted:
"WWE wants to get rid of Orton PERMANENTLY. Character and popularity have plateaued, and he's a pain to deal with."
Madden then added, in response to a reader Tweet, that "Vince thinks everybody is a WWE creation, and therefore disposable, to be replaced by another WWE creation. And you're overrating Orton."
The Wrestling Observer noted earlier in the week that while there is a small vocal minority in WWE that is lobbying for Orton's release, Vince McMahon is still contemplating his options and might ultimately retain Orton due to lack of roster depth.
