Linda McMahon Accused Of Using WrestleMania As A Bribe

CTPost.com has a story published questioning if Linda McMahon used WrestleMania 28 tickets as in exchange for political endorsement.

The story is talking about McMahon's political opponent Christopher Shays accusing John Slater, the Republican Town Committee chairman of Bridgeport, Connecticut, attending WrestleMania 28 and then after the event giving his public endorsement for McMahon's political campaign in the states Senate race.

It should be noted, Slater endorsed McMahon's campaign the first time she ran for Senate in Connecticut, so this isn't the first time he's supported her. This fact was not mentioned in the story.

There is also an article up on OnlyInBridgeport.com that notes Slater has been known as a regular wrestling fan, attending WrestleMania's over the years. The article also mentions the accuser, Christopher Shays, past statements that turned out to be false, including one regarding the attacks on 9/11.
