Punk breaks the hold and knocks him down, then he goes up top but Jericho shakes the ropes and crotches him on the top turnbuckle. He climbs up and hits Punk then attempts a superplex, but Punk blocks it and knocks him down. Punk hits a top rope elbow drop for two, then he picks Jericho up and punches him before going for another GTS attempt. Jericho elbows his way out and hits a bulldog, then he goes for a Lionsault but Punk catches him in the air and goes for another GTS.
Jericho floats over and throws Punk into the chair in the corner, then he hits a Codebreaker and puts Punk in the Walls of Jericho. Punk pushes himself up and crawls to the ropes, then he gets under the apron and pulls a fire extinguisher in the ring while Jericho still has the hold locked in. He sprays the extinguisher in Jericho's face, then he gets up and hits Jericho in the stomach with it, knocking Jericho to the floor. Punk hits him with it again, then he kicks him onto the announcer's table and climbs up to the top rope and hits a diving elbow drop through the table.
Punk drags Jericho in the ring and gets a near fall, but Jericho kicks out at two so Punk grabs his arm and puts him in the Anaconda Vise until Jericho hits him with the kendo stick. Punk tries to use a chair but Jericho surprises him with a Codebreaker for a near fall, and Jericho gets up and stomps on his head. Jericho mocks Punk and goes for a GTS, but Punk counters with a slingshot to the exposed turnbuckle, then he hits the GTS to retain.
