More Information on Top TNA Star’s Potential Injury

Wrestlezone recently ran a story (which you can read HERE) about Jeff Hardy's potential injury at a Worcester, MA house show. Thanks to Sean for sending in the following confirmation on the incident:

"I was at the 1/21 TNA house show. Hardy worked a slower match with a good deal of headlocks (although he made it interesting) and the finish was only a Twist of Fate – no Swanton afterwards. Immediately after he got the pin, the ref pretty much stuffed what looked like an ice pack (it could have been a heat pack) down his pants, which he held to his lower back. He stayed in the ring to do the in-ring photos as promised too!"

Thanks again to Sean for sending that in. At this point there hasn't been an update on Hardy's condition, but the slower pace of the match may indicate that he was already dealing with pain going in, and the booking agents were aware of the situation when helping to construct the match. We'll have more on Hardy's condition as it becomes available, but it isn't uncommon for wrestlers on a full-time schedule to work through minor pains.
