Mick Foley comes out and says he came back a few months ago and had no problem appearing every once in a while because he already lived out all of his dreams. He says he won the WWE Championship and headlined Wrestlemania in this building and his wife and kids got to see him do it in person. Foley says he has one more dream and two more young kids that didn't see him do that so he came back to announce he is entering the Royal Rumble. The fans cheer but Vickie Guerrero comes out with Dolph Ziggler and Dolph says there are only 30 spots in the Rumble and Foley wants to just show up and take one. Dolph says he is stealing a spot from the guys that work hard all year to impress his snotty kids, and he has seen his comedy so he hopes this isn't a joke.
Dolph says if Foley is serious he is going to get dumped right out of the ring, then Foley says that is the magic of the Royal Rumble because he doesn't know what will happen. Foley tells him he could also get a number that helps him, but Dolph is looking at this the wrong way because he is in the Rumble to win it. Dolph says that is great because he works all year to prove himself, and he made John Cena run away and even beat CM Punk two weeks in a row. He says he can't believe Foley is out there because he is going to win the WWE Championship and can't think of a bigger disappointment of an opponent than Foley would be.
Dolph says he didn't come to make two points, he just came to make a fool of himself and he succeeded, so he is going to make this really simple. He tells him to go home and go away, but CM Punk interrupts and says it is good to see Mick, then says they don't try to fit into a mold and they don't hide behind a woman. Punk says they earned everything they have unlike Dolph and John Laurinaitis, and Punk says he is going to keep his title because he is the better wrestler. John Laurinaitis comes out and says he will consider Foley's request, then says he thought about it and tells him no and leaves as Vickie turns around and laughs at Foley.
