Cody Rhodes comes to the entrance ramp and says the fans here may only speak Spanish, but they should all be familiar with INS. He says he wants to remind all of the legal citizens there that he has been the Intercontinental Champion for five months right now. Cody says that is the longest current reign of any champion, and it's better than Pedro Morales, Booker T or even his brother could ever do. He says he has a goal for 2012 and he is going to pull an 'Ultimate Warrior' this year. Cody says that could mean a lot of things, but he is going to simultaneously be the Intercontinental and World Champion, and says it all starts by winning the Royal Rumble.

Cody goes for a quick cover then knees Zeke in the stomach and stomps him near the ropes, then the ref pulls him away but he goes back and applies a headlock. Zeke powers out then whips Cody across the ring a couple of times and hits a clothesline then punches him in the ribs and bodyslams him. He sets up for the Torture Rack but Cody slides out and goes for Beautiful Disaster but Zeke ducks it, only to have Cody counter with a successful Beautiful Disaster, then drops Zeke with Cross Rhodes for the win.

Santino Marella is in Teddy Long's office and says he has a bunch of great ideas like having a cage match with mini cages inside of it, and they should allow reptiles at ringside. David Otunga comes in and interrupts them and says John Laurinaitis sent him to discuss which stars will be allowed in the Royal Rumble. He says he has a list of Superstars he should review, but Santino says he wants to face Otunga tonight and Teddy agrees to it and tells Otunga to get ready. Teddy hears a knock on the door and thinks it is Aksana, but Drew McIntyre walks in and Teddy says he has had it with him, and tells Drew he better win his match and it is coming up next.
