Roddy Piper is introduced and we will have another episode of Piper's Pit to start off tonight's RAW broadcast. Piper asks the fans how a guy who never won the championship and was never the biggest or strongest guy become a Hall of Famer? He says the answer is energy and he got it from the fans when they cheered him, and he did bad things when they booed him because it made him feel bad. He says it didn't matter what side it was, because the energy made him work, and there is another guy who gets mixed reactions, and he introduces John Cena.
Cena says he doesn't know what Piper is talking about when he says the fan reaction doesn't matter, and Piper says he will say a name and they should react. They all cheer for Steve Austin, Bret Hart and The Rock, then give a mixed reaction by booing when Piper says Cena's name, then they chant for him. Piper says he is just trying to help him, and Cena says he can see that and he hears the fans, but Piper says he saw what happened when they chanted for the Rock to Rock Bottom him. Rock listened and did it and the fans went nuts, then Cena says he knows he has a small group of hardcore fans, but he also has alot of people who buy tickets just to tell him to go to hell.
Piper says he can do what he wants because Cena is the face of the WWE, and the boos are getting louder because Cena is losing it and he needs to tell everyone what he thinks. He says Cena needs to do something before he loses the biggest Wrestlemania ever, but Cena says he has been there before and talks about all of the hostile environments he has walked into. Cena says it was just New York being New York and the Rock had a good night, and he doesn't need to do anything because he has fans there who are having the time of their lives. He points out some kids with Cena merchandise, some Make-A-Wish children and some armed forces soldiers, and tells Piper that rising above hate is why he can ignore everything to show them a good time and then go to Wrestlemania.
